Drumcar Feeds is the grain merchant branch of the group. Primarily a grain merchant business, most of the grain processed by Drumcar Feeds is grown locally and Terry Kings' reputation as an honest and fair dealer is well known in the area.
Local farmers supply about 90% of the grain processed on the premises at Drumcar, where it is weighed, quality tested, dried and processed.
Over 30000 ton of storage is available for cereal at the Drumcar premises, 4500ton of which is equipped with under floor aeration facilities.
Drumcar Feeds has two continuous flow grain driers, capable of drying up to 60 ton an hour. As well as drying its own tonnage the company also dries on contract for other merchants and brokers and offers a 'B&B' service to local farmers.
WIth traceability in the feed industry of ever growing importance, Drumcar Feeds have been certified by IGAS (Irish Grain Assurance Scheme), TAGS (Trade Assured Grain Scheme) and TASCC ( Trade Assurance Scheme for Combinable Crops).
